Sfpi Group is launching a managerial training catalog for all its managers, an initiative aligned with the managerial pillar of our transformation plan. This approach aims to strengthen the manager's role by providing them with tools and support tailored to their professional context.
Un catalogue de formation managériale pour construire un avenir solide
A managerial training catalog to build a solid future
Lifelong learning for employees throughout their careers is a key element of success for any company. At Sfpi Group, the launch of a managerial training catalog represents much more than just a collection of educational programs with purely operational goals: it is a strategic toolkit designed to provide our managers with a comprehensive view of professional development opportunities. These opportunities have a tangible and direct impact on the future of our group. This catalog, designed for all of our managers, addresses a wide range of needs within our organization, such as leadership development, performance management, and change management. It is designed to strengthen managerial skills by standardizing practices and ensuring that each manager has the necessary competencies to achieve the group's objectives. What are these objectives? Innovate and develop sustainably by reducing our carbon footprint, increasing overall revenue, achieving operational excellence, and improving quality and customer satisfaction. This guide is not static; it evolves with the changing context and needs of our sector and employees.
Development of the Managerial training catalog: a collaborative process
The creation of this managerial training catalog was developed in a rigorous and collaborative manner. The process included structured steps such as drafting a detailed job description for managers, launching a self-assessment campaign, and conducting individual interviews. These steps not only allowed us to clearly define the roles and responsibilities inherent to this position within Sfpi Group but also to identify and thoroughly analyze their needs and expectations in terms of skills development, both in terms of soft skills (self-awareness, commitment, ethics, etc.) and hard skills (analysis, project management, communication, change management, etc.). At the same time, a survey was conducted within the group’s human resources to map out the various training programs already offered within our companies. Once these initial steps were completed, we carefully selected training programs corresponding to the identified skills, ensuring the relevance and quality of the content provided. Finally, we defined the usage and operational parameters of the catalog, ensuring that it is user-friendly, accessible, and effective.
Towards Sustainable Leadership through an innovative training catalog
The intended impact of our managerial training catalog within Sfpi Group is broad and ambitious. First, a significant improvement in leadership at all levels, with managers better equipped to inspire, guide, and motivate their teams. Additionally, we anticipate tangible benefits such as reduced staff turnover and better employee retention thanks to stronger managerial support and better-supported teams. Our catalog also aims to strengthen our adaptability to changes and challenges by fostering consistency in our management practices and encouraging innovation and creativity at all levels of the organization. Finally, this project will contribute to enhancing our employer brand, a key factor in attracting new talent.
This comprehensive approach will allow us to optimize our human capital and reach new heights in organizational performance.
